Naphthalene and naphthalene series products can usually be extracted from coal tar and petroleum cracking tar, and can be divided into crude naphthalene (industrial naphthalene), refined naphthalene, and methyl naphthalene
The main component of industrial naphthalene is organic compounds, which are colorless and glossy flake crystals. Depending on the purity, naphthalene can be divided into industrial naphthalene and refined naphthalene. The purity of industrial naphthalene is generally about 96%. After further purification, impurity removal, and desulfurization of industrial naphthalene, high-purity refined naphthalene can be obtained
Distillation tower: Industrial naphthalene distillation towers generally use floating valve towers, with 50-70 layers of floating valve plates, and tower diameters ranging from 800-1200mm according to the processing capacity.
Condensing cooler: The condensing cooler is a tube and tube heat exchanger with a diameter of 1.2m, a length of 3.376m, and a cooling area of 122m2. During production, the cooling water flows through the tube, and naphthalene steam enters the tube at a temperature of 138-140 ℃ from the top of the condenser. After heat exchange, it flows out as a liquid at a temperature of 80-90 ℃ from the bottom of the condenser. Cooling water enters from the bottom of the device and flows out from the upper part at a temperature of 40-50 ℃
Drum crystallizer: Its structure is shown in Figures 1-8. Drum crystallizer is a machine that continuously cools molten naphthalene into solid bulk naphthalene. The drum crystallization machine consists of a shell insulation pool, a drum scraper cooling water pipe, and a transmission device.
