精萘与粗萘的区别是什么?
精萘与粗萘是萘的两种不同纯度的产品形态,其差异主要体现在生产工艺、化学纯度、物理性质及应用领域等方面。
Refined naphthalene and crude naphthalene are two different purity product forms of naphthalene, and their differences are mainly reflected in production processes, chemical purity, physical properties, and application fields.

Production process and purity differences
粗萘是萘的初级加工产品,主要从煤焦油或石油蒸馏过程中提取。煤焦油中萘含量约为8%-12%,通过焦油精馏塔侧线切取210-230℃的萘油馏分,经洗涤脱酚和精馏分离后得到纯度约96%的工业萘,即粗萘。粗萘中通常含有1%-3%的硫茚、甲基萘及少量茚、焦油碱和焦油酸等杂质。而精萘则是粗萘进一步提纯的产物,需通过酸洗、蒸馏或加氢精制等工艺脱除杂质及硫分,使纯度提升至98.45%以上。若需更高纯度,还需采用加氢精制工艺,使硫含量低于0.05%。
Crude naphthalene is a primary processed product of naphthalene, mainly extracted from coal tar or petroleum distillation processes. The naphthalene content in coal tar is about 8% -12%. The naphthalene oil fraction at 210-230 ℃ is cut through the side line of the tar distillation tower, and after washing, dephenolization, and distillation separation, industrial naphthalene with a purity of about 96%, namely crude naphthalene, is obtained. Crude naphthalene usually contains 1% -3% sulfur indene, methyl naphthalene, and small amounts of indene, tar base, and tar acid impurities. Refined naphthalene is the product of further purification of crude naphthalene, which requires processes such as acid washing, distillation, or hydrogenation refining to remove impurities and sulfur, and increase the purity to over 98.45%. If higher purity is required, hydrogenation refining process should be used to reduce the sulfur content to below 0.05%.

Both have a melting point of around 80 ℃ and a boiling point of 217.9 ℃. They are insoluble in water but soluble in organic solvents such as anhydrous ethanol, ether, and benzene. In terms of chemical properties, naphthalene, as a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon, has active chemical properties and is prone to oxidation, reduction, substitution, and addition reactions. Refined naphthalene has higher purity and better chemical stability, while impurities in crude naphthalene may affect its reaction activity and product purity.

During transportation, liquid refined naphthalene is transported in sealed tank trucks, while solid refined naphthalene is packaged in kraft paper bags to avoid damage. The storage and transportation of crude naphthalene are similar, but due to its high impurity content, the risk of environmental impact is relatively low.
